The beauty of Grist Mill Pond is reason enough to stop by. This lake is so wonderful. Ashland Town Sewage Lagoons is a nearby lake that you could take a look at, and drift down the rapids of Mad River in a kayak. You don’t have to go far from Grist Mill Pond to distinguish the water at Ashland Mill Dam, and get drenched paddling on Beebe River.
