During your visit to Grist Mill Pond you'll meet some folks from Laconia for sure; you're perhaps hooked on lakes, Little Squam Lake is one of those nearby. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a site to stay Pilgrim Inn and Cottages is a wonderful choice; the skiing at Waterville Valley is magnificent. Now, you may imagine that's heaps but there's even more fun stuff to do here at Grist Mill Pond. Go for a hike on the The Wall Trail; in the event that you don’t

| | have a problem getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Beebe River. Summertime at Grist Mill Pond arrives with high temperatures in the 70's, and throughout the night it cools down to the 50's. Highs through the wintertime are usually in the 20's while Grist Mill Pond night low temperatures during the wintertime are in the 0's. Not sufficient hours in a day to enjoy this site. to spend a night or two. If you want to play some golf, you're in luck because White MTN Country Club is around here; why not camp at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park while you're here at Grist Mill Pond. And that's not all there is
to do here in the White Mountains. If you came for an overnight stay Mountain View Family Campground is a glorious place to camp. Lakes are fine; Ashland Town Sewage Lagoons is a lake that's near Grist Mill Pond. This lake is so wonderful.
There's always Ashland Mill Dam to go to right next door to Grist Mill Pond; don't leave Grist Mill Pond without first going for a hike along the Prospect Trail. This lake is one of the great places here in the White Mountains.
There's great hiking along the Cascade Trail, and swing by Ames Brook it's a perfect site to pop by. Grist Mill Pond is a good place of typical precipitation; through the month of August you get the most rain around here while February
is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Just can't get enough of the White Mountains. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Tenney Mountain is next to Grist Mill Pond, and Mad River has a perfect whitewater paddling spot nearby.
