After a long day outdoors The Henniker Motel is a wonderful place to spend a night or two, and hey, Gotta ski right? Pats Peak is a good spot to do that. This is no place for people who don’t like to have a good time. There are some great whitewater spots on Blackwater River; Greenough Pond is not the only place close by,       Knights Meadow Marsh Reservoir is a close by lake. You're sure to come across some great people from Concord here; if the weather is good, you can go for a hike along the Wilmot Trail. Greenough Pond is a great place to visit for more than one day, Cold Brook Campground is a great place to camp nearby, and if you need a location to stay Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites TILTON is a great choice. The Melton Falls Trail is a pleasant hiking trail in close                  proximity to Greenough Pond, naturally you could also visit The Bay if you're here; it's not far at all. This lake is so wonderful. Getting to Mill Brook from Greenough Pond is simple, and the slopes of Ragged Mountain are so inviting noone can resist. If you like the outdoors, you'll have a thing about Greenough Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Camp Kenwood & Evergreen is a good campground nearby, and close by you find the Holt Trail which is a fine hiking trail. All through the summer months at Greenough Pond temperatures are frequently in the 80's, and throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's while the cold winter nights at Greenough Pond are in the 0's.
