    Beautiful Greenough Pond has much to offer visitors. If you're here at Greenough Pond, you could explore Larrys Brook, and there are other locations here than Greenough Pond, for example Dustan Pond. Get your pulse rate up on the perfect whitewater of Androscoggin River, and there is a perfect hiking trail close by called the Speck Pond Trail. Man, is there lots of cool things to do near Greenough  
               Pond. You can run the rapids of Diamond River in close proximity to Greenough Pond; camping at Log Haven Campground is always a splendid experience.
This lake is so wonderful. You'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Balsams Wilderness since you're here, and on a great day you can take a hike along the Old Magalloway Trail. If you adore the outdoors you'll adore it here in the White Mountains. Not far from Greenough Pond, you'll locate Little Greenough Pond which is a charming lake. After a long day outdoors A Top Notch Inn is a tremendous location to spend a night or two; if you came to camp Mollidgewock Campground is a good site to do that.

I spent most of my summers growing up at cedar pond.We had our camp there and I remember the penny candy at the red and white striped store and the dog inky. There was also a dog named cedar that would visit all the camps in search of food. The lake would be freezing even in August and when we had to start a fire in the furnace the only wood we had to burn was obviously cedar and the smell was wonderful. And though the ''camp'' my Pepere had is no longer there, the wonderful memories are....
