    A visit to Greeley Ponds is always a good idea. This lake is so wonderful. Greeley Ponds is in close proximity to Kancamagus Pass which is certainly worth taking a look at; as expected, this is a tremendous neighborhood for people who like lakes, Lily Pond is a lake close at hand. Hiking along the Greeley Ponds Trail is brilliant fun, and if you need a spot to stay Best Western Silver Fox Inn is a pleasant choice. That right there is loads of fun stuff already
   but it goes on, the White Mountains has it all. There's so much to do here at Greeley Ponds that you need to camp here for a while, Pass Campground is a wonderful site for that, and since you're here you can take a hike along the Kettles Path.
This lake is so wonderful. There's whitewater on Pemigewasset River - Hancock Br. for all you adrenaline junkies; what would winter be without some skiing at Waterville Valley. Stay the night at Hancock Campground;

               pretty scenery and good skiing is what you get at Loon Mountain. For the period of the summertime highs here at Greeley Ponds get into the 70's while night lows are ordinarily in the 50's. For the period of the wintertime highs are generally in the 20's; night lows through the wintertime for Greeley Ponds tend to be in the 0's.
Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this spot. A perfect nearby hotel is Village Of Loon Mountain (Vri). Greeley Ponds is a good location of normal rain; the month with most of the rain is August; February is the month with the least moisture. This lake is one of the great places here in the White Mountains.
Now, you may assume that's a heap but there's even more exciting stuff to do here at Greeley Ponds. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always pop by nearby East Pond; since you're here you can play some golf at Waterville Valley Golf Course. Be careful coming to the White Mountains, you might not ever want to go home again. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Swift River, and going for a hike along the Mount Osceola Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region. You can see East Peak from Greeley Ponds, and it's a tremendous idea to take a look at Cascade Brook.
