The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 70's to Great Hill Pond. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 50's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Great Hill Pond. Great Hill Pond is not the only place close by, Jackman Pond is a close by lake, and if you came for an overnight stay Jigger Jonnson Campground 2 is a magnificent       place to camp. The White Mountains scenery is always beautiful. From Great Hill Pond you obtain a fine panorama of Brown Hill, and Jigger Johnson Campground 1 is a nice local campground. If you want a nice time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Great Hill Pond. During your trip to Great Hill Pond you'll meet some folks from Laconia for sure; don't forget to take a good little trip to Hoag Brook. There are some good whitewater spots on Bearcamp River,                  and if you come at the right time of year, Wonalancet offers some wonderful whitewater. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a spot to stay Attitash Grand Summit Hotel and Conference Center is a tremendous choice, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Old Locke Road Path. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the cool things at Great Hill Pond. All the outdoors entertaining things in the White Mountains will keep you coming back time and again. Attitash Bear Peak is a glorious local ski area, and do take a hike on the Big Rock Cave Trail. Yeah, come up here to the White Mountains for a good time. If you get bored of Great Hill Pond, you could also take a look at close by Tilton Pond; dry warm beds await you at Rodeway Inn Moultonborough. This lake is so wonderful. Everybody close by loves skiing at Waterville Valley, and Great Hill Pond is right by the Bickford Trail.
