A great deal of precipitation falls at Grassy Pond; the month with most of the rain is November, and the driest month is January. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Contoocook River, also Grassy Pond Dam is worth a visit since you're here. So many cool things       in close proximity to Grassy Pond, definitely unbelievable. If you came to camp Mile/Away Campground is a splendid location to do that; while you're here you will meet lots of people from close by Concord. A fine close by hotel is Centennial Inn. There's so much to do here at Grassy Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Rock' N Birch Campground is a nice location for that. This lake is so wonderful. Playing golf is lots of fun at Duston Country Club                  Golf Course, and if you need a place to stay The Henniker Motel is a tremendous choice. This lake is so wonderful. Near Grassy Pond you find the Wapack Trail which is a great hiking trail; hey, Gotta ski right? Ragged Mountain is a tremendous spot to do that. Having a delightful time at Grassy Pond is simple. Everybody close by loves skiing at Pats Peak, and if you've had enough of Grassy Pond, Clement Pond is nearby. You're in all probability addicted to lakes, Bear Pond is one of those nearby, and the Old Country Road is a delightful hiking trail nearby. During the summer highs here at Grassy Pond get into the 80's. Summer night lows plunge down to the 50's.
