This lake is so wonderful. Contoocook River is a perfect whitewater spot next to Grassy Pond, and close by you stumble on the White Dot Trail which is a magnificent hiking trail. Grassy Pond is a tremendous location to visit for more than one day, Emerald Acres is a tremendous location to camp nearby; Colonial Hotel is a tremendous location to get some rest. Just can't get enough of Grassy Pond. This lake       is so wonderful. In case you don’t have a problem getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Ashuelot River - South Branch, and at Grassy Pond you can observe Lord Hill. But wait, there's more to do in the vicinity of Grassy Pond. If you need a place to stay Gardner Super 8 Motel is a glorious choice; the Harling Trail is a great hiking trail nearby. There are other sites here than Grassy Pond, for example Emerson Pond, and on a brilliant day                  you can take a hike along the Parker Trail. Throughout the months of summer here at Grassy Pond, high temperatures mostly get into the 80's, and the overnight is quite colder of course, mostly in the 50's. Highs throughout the winter are generally in the 30's, and overnight lows in the 0's for Grassy Pond.
