Go to Grassy Pond if you want to go to a nice lake. This lake is so wonderful. Contoocook River is a perfect whitewater spot next to Grassy Pond, and close by you stumble on the White Dot Trail which is a magnificent hiking trail. Grassy Pond is a tremendous location to visit for more than one day, Emerald Acres is a tremendous location to camp nearby; Colonial Hotel is a tremendous location to get some rest. Just can't get enough of Grassy Pond. This lake

| | is so wonderful. In case you don’t have a problem getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Ashuelot River - South Branch, and at Grassy Pond you can observe Lord Hill. But wait, there's more to do in the vicinity of Grassy Pond. If you need a place to stay Gardner Super 8 Motel is a glorious choice; the Harling Trail is a great hiking trail nearby.
