Summertime at Grafton Pond comes with high temperatures in the 80's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 50's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 20's, and night lows in the 0's for Grafton Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Clark Pond Loop is always a great adventure,       and you can never get enough of the great skiing at Whaleback. If you're here at Grafton Pond, checking out Banks Pinnacle is a must. There are perfect spots to look at along the Mowglis Trail, and wonderful skiing awaits you at Mount Sunapee. Don't try to stop me, cause I'm havin' a wonderful time here at Grafton Pond. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Mascoma River, and Grafton Pond Dam is not far at all from                  Grafton Pond. Not far from Grafton Pond, you'll discover Butternut Pond which is a beautiful lake. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Grafton Pond has to offer, you can camp at Mascoma Lake Camping Area. This lake is so wonderful. Near Grafton Pond you discover the West Ridge Trail which is a fine hiking trail, and you can stay the night at Crescent Campsites. The annual precipitation here at Grafton Pond is about average; August is the wettest month with most rain; the driest of the months is February.
