This lake is so wonderful. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Wilmot Trail, and swing by Nelson Brook it's a tremendous site to check out. This lake is so wonderful. Near Gould Pond you discover a golf course called Angus Lea Golf Course, and not far from here you can enjoy the trees of Fox State Forest. This spot is great, just explore all the exciting things       to do close to Gould Pond. If you came to camp Oxbow Campground is a great spot to do that. Sand Brook Marsh is a nearby lake that you could check out; Gould Pond is nice enough to spend more than a day at, Lake Massasecum Park and Campground is a nice local campground. For the duration of the warm months highs here at Gould Pond get into the 70's, and throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the 20's,                  and through the dark hours in the winter at Gould Pond temperatures sink to the 10's. The skiing at Crotched Mountain is great, and if you need a place to stay Best Western Sunapee Lake Lodge is a fine choice. So much fun stuff to do at Gould Pond, so little time. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Pats Peak is close to Gould Pond; you're sure to stumble upon some friendly people from Concord here. Contoocook River is a great whitewater spot in close proximity to Gould Pond; you don’t have to go far from Gould Pond to observe the water at Sand Brook Marsh Dam. Gould Pond gets a common amount of yearly precipitation; November is when you get the most rain here, and January on the other hand is the driest.
