There are other sites here than Gordon Pond, for example Beaver Pond, and don't leave Gordon Pond without first going for a hike along the Gordon Pond Trail. Whohoo, so many enjoyable things in one place! The White Mountains rocks! The vista of beautiful Mount Wolf near Gordon Pond is pleasant, and not far from Gordon Pond you'll find Harrington Pond which is a beautiful lake. This lake is so wonderful. Really       splendid skiing awaits you at Cannon Mountain; you can stay the night at Koa Kampground Broken Branch. For the period of the warmest time of the year highs here at Gordon Pond get into the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 50's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 20's, and during the dark hours in the wintertime at Gordon Pond temperatures plunge to the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. There's no such thing as a bad day                  of skiing at nearby Loon Mountain, and a pleasant location for whitewater paddling is Cascade Brook. Not sufficient hours in a day to enjoy this site. After a long day outdoors Econo Lodge Inn & Suites is a tremendous place to spend a night or two, and Gordon Pond is a fine site to visit for more than one day, Lost River Valley Campground is a fine site to camp nearby. Now, you may imagine that's lots but there's even more exciting things to do here in the White Mountains. Go for a hike on the Kinsman Ridge Trail, and if you're here you can play some golf at Jack O'Lantern Golf Course. Gordon Pond is located in the White Mountains. It's a nice idea to check out Eliza Brook, it's near Gordon Pond; get your pulse rate up on the great whitewater of Pemigewasset River. Man, is there a heap of fun stuff to do right next door to Gordon Pond. There's tremendous hiking along the Reel Brook Trail. Dry warm beds await you at Woodwards Resort, and the beauty of mother nature reveals herself at Gordon Falls.
