The beauty of Goose Pond attracts many people from all around. Just can't get enough of the White Mountains. A cool spot to stop at next to Goose Pond is Simmons Ledges; hiking along the Manning Trail is glorious fun. There's just no way anyone can get bored here at Goose Pond. You get a delightful vista of Bear Mountain from Goose Pond, and Tenney Mountain is a nice local ski area. Going for a hike along the Holt Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty

| | of this region, obviously you could also go to Foster Pond while you're here; it's not far at all. This lake is so wonderful. People from Concord love to come to Goose Pond, and drift down the rapids of Newfound River River in a kayak. Goose Pond is a good place of normal rainfall; May is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest month of the year is January. And if that's not sufficient there's loads more fun things to do in the White Mountains. | |

This lake is so wonderful. Paddling on Fowler River is so much fun; if you need a location to stay Red Carpet Inn and Suites Plymouth is a tremendous choice. And that's not all you can do here in the White Mountains. Taking a little
journey to nearby Hornet Cove is a magnificent idea; the slopes of Ragged Mountain are so inviting nobody can resist. This lake is one of the great places here in the White Mountains. Be careful coming to Goose Pond, you might
not ever wanna go back home again. Visit Bog Brook since you're here at Goose Pond, and a lake close by is Newfound Lake. During the summer months at Goose Pond temperatures are generally in the 80's; the nighttime is somewhat colder
of course, generally in the 50's. For the period of the wintertime the highs are frequently in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Goose Pond are in the 0's. Take a hike on the Melton Falls Trail, and a great place to camp here
at Goose Pond is Blueberry Shores Campground. Camping at Bear Mountain Rustic Campground LLC is always a good experience; a good nearby hotel is Red Carpet Motel.
