Many people like to go to Glen Lake. Glen Lake is wonderful enough to spend more than a day at, Autumn Hills Campground is a wonderful local campground; a delightful close by hotel is The Bedford Village Inn. What a spot this is for outdoors people. Put some time aside to spend at Greggs Falls while you're here at Glen Lake, and the Old Country Road is a perfect hiking trail nearby. | | down the rapids of Piscataquog River in a kayak. Throughout the summer at Glen Lake temperatures are ordinarily in the 80's. Through the moonlight hours it's ordinarily in the 50's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 20's, and nighttime lows during the winter for Glen Lake tend to be in the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. for that, and one of the overriding traits of the surroundings of Glen Lake is Benson Hill. This lake is so wonderful. Some nearby water includes Cemetery Brook, and you'll probably meet some folks from Manchester-Nashua here.
If you're a golfer then a perfect nearby course is Countryside Golf Club; if you come at the right time of year, Piscataquog River - South Branch offers some perfect whitewater. Skiing at McIntyre is one of those things you just ought
to do, and close by you locate the Catamount Trail which is a wonderful hiking trail. You can never get enough of the glorious skiing at Pats Peak, and if you need a place to stay Hill - Brook Motel is a nice choice. Glen Lake
is a rather wet place frequently with a good deal of precipitation; through the month of November you get the most rain around here; the driest month of the year is September. You can take a little tour to Greggs Falls Dam while you're here at Glen Lake, and there is a glorious hiking trail close by called the Onemile Trail.
