The Wilmot Trail offers hiking at its best. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Gillingham Pond has to offer, you can camp at Lake Massasecum Park and Campground. Everybody close by loves skiing at Mount Sunapee, and lakes are such peaceful places, why not stop by Todd Lake. Warner River has a tremendous whitewater paddling spot close by. There's so much to do here at Gillingham Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Rand Pond Campground

At Gillingham Pond you can catch a sight of Bald Sunapee. Whitewater paddling is fine on Contoocook River - North Branch; the slopes of Crotched Mountain are so inviting nobody can resist. This is no place for people who don’t like to enjoy themselves. Best Western Sunapee Lake Lodge is
a tremendous place to get some rest, and one of the best things about this place is its proximity to Wadleigh State Beach. If you like the outdoors, you'll like Gillingham Pond. Dry warm beds await you at The Henniker Motel, and
why not take a refreshing hike along the West Ridge Trail. During the summer months at Gillingham Pond highs are commonly in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 50's. Through the winter this place gets highs in the 20's, and night lows in the 10's for Gillingham Pond.
