This lake is so wonderful. Soar down the rapids of Warner River in a kayak, and in all probability you're looking for close by lakes? Sure, Cascade Marsh is just a very short distance away. If you want to hit the beach, Wadleigh State Beach is close at hand, of course you could also have a look at Kezar Lake since you're here; it's not far at all. Take some time to take a look at Shadow Hill State Forest while you're here;       the view of Dresser Hills is pretty. This lake is so wonderful. An interesting thing to visit close to Gile Pond is Cascade Brook Dam, and close to Gile Pond you discover a golf course called Country Club of NH. Gile Pond gets a normal amount of annual rain; the wettest month of the year is commonly November, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest of the months is January. For the period of the months of summer at Gile Pond temperatures are typically in the 70's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 50's. High temperatures all through the winter are normally in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Gile Pond are in the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. Gile Pond is delightful enough to spend more than a day at, Camp Kenwood & Evergreen is a delightful local campground, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Gile Pond; Wilmot Trail is a glorious local trail. There's just no way somebody can get bored here at Gile Pond. There are plenty of people from Concord here at Gile Pond, and if you came to camp Lake Massasecum Park and Campground is a magnificent site to do that. If you need a spot to stay Best Western Sunapee Lake Lodge is a magnificent choice, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Monadnock Sunapee Trail. Head up to Mount Sunapee and strap some skis to your feet; the snow is splendid at Ragged Mountain. Be careful coming to Gile Pond, you might not ever wanna go home again.
