If you like lakes and you're in this part of New Hampshire you can check out Gentian Pond. Going for a hike on the Success Trail is always a splendid adventure, and after a long day outdoors Town and Country Motor Inn is a glorious place to spend a night or two. It's always great to explore Dryad Falls, and camping at Gentian Pond is great fun, Wild River Campground is a great local campground. Really delightful skiing awaits you at Sunday River.

| | is one of the great places here in the White Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. Near Gentian Pond you stumble on the Austin Brook Trail which is a great hiking trail, and paddling on Peabody River is so much fun. So many exciting things to do in the White Mountains, not sufficient time. Dryad Brook is a gorgeous stream that is worth stopping at, and dry warm beds await you at Town & Country Motor Inn.

temperatures regularly reach the 70's with nighttime lows in the 50's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 20's; during the dark hours in the winter at Gentian Pond temperatures sink to the 0's. This location, the White
Mountains, has so much outdoors enjoyable stuff. You'll come across a wonderful lake called Dream Lake near Gentian Pond, and you can go for a hike on the Scudder Trail. You definitely must go for Gentian Pond. Basin Campground and
Picnic Area is a brilliant campground here, and Wild River has a tremendous whitewater paddling spot nearby.
This lake is so wonderful. Black Mountain has nice slopes and a friendly staff, and you get a wonderful panorama of Mount
Crag from here. Gentian Pond is a good location of common precipitation; August is when you get the most rain here, and the driest of the months is February.
