Why not camp at Gale River Campground since you're here at Garfield Pond; while you're here, you could check out Burnt Brook. Whohoo, so much cool stuff in one place! The White Mountains is peerless! Going for a hike on the Gale River Trail is always a splendid adventure; paddling on Ammonoosuc River is so much fun. Garfield Pond really is in the middle of a pretty outdoors paradise. The snow is glorious       at Cannon Mountain, and if you came for an overnight stay Lafayette Campground is a pleasant spot to camp. This lake is so wonderful. If you get bored of Garfield Pond, you could also stop by nearby Bethlehem Reservoir, and get wet paddling on Ammonoosuc River. Garfield Pond is located in the White Mountains. Garfield Pond is a good location of typical rainfall; most of the rain falls all through August while February is frequently the driest month.                  This lake is so wonderful. Village Of Loon Mountain (Vri) is a great place to get some rest, and there is a fine hiking trail nearby called the Garfield Ridge Trail. Hawthorne Falls is a pleasant local attraction, and close by you find the Garfield Trail which is a perfect hiking trail. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors exciting things the White Mountains has to offer. If you need a place to stay Franconia Notch Motel is a fine choice, and a lake close by is Littleton Reservoir. A day on the slopes of Loon Mountain is just what you need, and Flat Top Mountain is a peak you can catch a glimpse of from Garfield Pond. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors exciting things the area next to Garfield Pond has to offer. If you're a golfer then a tremendous nearby course is Maplewood Country Club & Hotel. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 70's to Garfield Pond while night lows are generally in the 50's.
