The scenery at Woodsville Hydroelectric Dam close to Lake Gardner is stunning, and whitewater paddling is nice on Wild Ammonoosuc River. Any time is a good time at Lake Gardner if you have a thing about the outdoors. Hiking along the Black Mountain Trail is pleasant fun. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike along the       Blueberry Mountain Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Lake Gardner has to offer, you can camp at Warners Campground. This lake is so wonderful. A tremendous spot to go to near Lake Gardner is Dark Hollow, and lakes are such calm places, why not explore Ammonoosuc River Reservoir. This location is unbeatable, just look at all the cool stuff to do close to Lake Gardner. After                  a long day outdoors Comfort Inn & Suites is a fine location to spend a night or two, and Ammonoosuc River is one of the streams nearby that might be worth taking a look at. Stay the night at Twin River Campground and Cottages; an afternoon playing golf at Blackmount Country Club is always a delight. Ammonoosuc Inn is a tremendous place to get some rest; paddling on Wells River is so much fun. For the duration of the summertime highs here at Lake Gardner reach the 80's with night lows in the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 20's with temperatures at Lake Gardner dipping down into the 0's during winter nights. Lake Gardner is right by the Chippewa Trail, and what would winter be without some skiing at Cannon Mountain.
