Frost Pond is a lake worth visiting. If the weather is nice here at Frost Pond, you can go for a hike along the Parker Trail, and if the weather is wonderful, you get a delightful sight of Woodbury Hill from Frost Pond. At Frost Pond during the summertime months highs are in the 80's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Frost Pond. Whohoo, so many amusing

This lake is so wonderful. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Contoocook River - North Branch, and naturally, this is a wonderful vicinity for folks who like lakes, Parker Pond is a lake nearby. You'll meet a lot of people from
Keene here, and the Harling Trail is a splendid hiking trail close by. You'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Wachusett Mountain while you're here, and if you need a site to stay Gardner Super 8 Motel is a great choice.
Near Frost Pond you discover the Pumpelly Trail which is a pleasant hiking trail, and if you came for an overnight stay Emerald Acres is a wonderful site to camp. An average amount of rainfall falls at Frost Pond; through August
this area sees the most rain, and February on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Float down the rapids of Contoocook River in a kayak, and Colonial Hotel is a glorious place to get some rest.

I've seen great blue heron, ducks of many varieties, Canada geese and even two bald eagles. It's easy to surprise beaver early in the morning as well as muskrat and oppossum. I haven's spotted deer yet, but have heard them crashing off into the brush when I paddle too close to shore in the morning mists.... |
