French Pond is a relatively wet place generally with much precipitation; of all the months in a year November is the one with the most rain; January is when it's the driest. That right there is plenty already, but it keeps on going; French Pond has it all. Rock' N Birch Campground is a great campground nearby; skiing at Pats Peak is one of those things you just should do. If you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Duston Country Club Golf Course is in close proximity, and you can have a delightful hiking adventure along the Wapack Trail. Summertime at French Pond comes with high temperatures in the 80's. Summer nighttime lows plunge down to the 50's. High temperatures all through the wintertime are normally in the 20's, and after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at French Pond descend into the 0's.
