This lake is so wonderful. Hiking along the Wilmot Trail is perfect fun, and if you're here and you like golf, you can pop by Duston Country Club Golf Course. At French Pond all through the summer highs are in the 80's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 50's. All through the wintertime the highs are regularly in the 20's with temperatures at French Pond dipping down into the 0's during winter nights. French | |

Pond is magnificent enough to spend more than a day at, Mile/Away Campground is a magnificent local campground, and you can make out Clement Hill from French Pond.
Crotched Mountain is a glorious local ski area, and the trees
of Ames State Forest are a good source of shade on hot summer days. Camping at Rock' N Birch Campground is always a fine experience, and after a long day outdoors Tall Pines Cottages is a delightful place to spend a night or two.
This lake is so wonderful. Grassy Pond Dam is a place that is close to French Pond, and get drenched paddling on Contoocook River.
This place, French Pond, it just has so much outdoors cool stuff. The skiing at Pats Peak is splendid,
and you'll meet a lot of people from Concord here. If you need a place to stay Henniker Motel is a brilliant choice; don't forget to take a magnificent little visit to Amey Brook.
