There are some wonderful whitewater spots on Little Suncook, and the Catamount Trail is a great hiking trail close by. Nicholls Brook is near Freeses Pond and is always a joy to stop at; McIntyre is a very popular ski area in the vicinity. During the warmest time of the year at Freeses Pond temperatures are generally in the 80's. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 50's. For the period       of the winter highs are in the 20's while Freeses Pond night low temperatures through the winter are in the 0's. Not far from Freeses Pond, you'll hit upon Pleasant Lake which is a delightful lake, and Sleep Inn Londonderry is a tremendous place to get some rest. The annual rainfall here at Freeses Pond is about average; the wettest month of the year is frequently November, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest of the months is January. Camping                  is available at Blake's Brook Campground. Lakes? Sure, Voydatch Pond is nearby. This lake is so wonderful. The Oaks Golf Links is a golf course near Freeses Pond; a splendid spot to camp here at Freeses Pond is Saddleback Campground. Be careful coming to Freeses Pond, you might not ever wanna go back home again. There's just no way anybody can get bored here at Freeses Pond.
