Soar down the rapids of Baker River in a kayak, and if you like skiing, you're in luck; Loon Mountain is relatively near. A perfect close by hotel is Red Carpet Motel, naturally you could also explore Three Ponds since you're here; it's not far at all. This lake is so wonderful. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Three Ponds Trail, and the snow is tremendous at Tenney Mountain.       This lake is so wonderful. Black Hill is clearly visible from Foxglove Pond, and Scenic View Campground is a great campground nearby. The yearly precipitation here at Foxglove Pond is about average; August is when you get the most rain here, and February is the month with the least moisture. This place, the White Mountains, has so much outdoors cool things. If you need a place to stay Red Carpet Inn and Suites Plymouth is a good choice; if you came for an overnight                  stay Moose Hillock Campground is a magnificent site to camp.
