This lake is so wonderful. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Carr Mountain Trail, and there's tremendous hiking along the Three Ponds Trail. And if that's not enough there's a lot more amusing things to do in the White Mountains. Skiing at Loon Mountain is one of those things you just must do, and after a long day outdoors Red Carpet Motel is a great spot to spend a night or two. The amount of rain that falls at       Foxglove Pond is close to the national average; August is when you get the most rain here, and February is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Looking for something next to Foxglove Pond? Three Ponds is in the neighborhood, and whitewater paddling is glorious on Baker River. Nearby lakes?
