But wait, there's more to do in close proximity to Fox Pond. What would winter be without some skiing at Tenney Mountain, and needless to say Baker River flows through this area. Just can't get enough of Fox Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Go for a hike on the Prospect Trail, and Fox Pond is not the only place close by, Bog Pond is a close by lake. An average amount of rainfall falls at Fox Pond; through August       this area sees the most rain, and February on the other hand is the driest. This lake is located in the wonderful White Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. An out of the ordinary thing to go to in the neighborhood of Fox Pond is Fox Pond Dam, and Mad River has a good whitewater paddling spot close by. Good hiking is available along the The Wall Trail, and in case you don’t mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Branch Brook.                  Very gorgeous scenery and pleasant skiing is what you get at Waterville Valley; Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park is a great local campground. During the summertime months here at Fox Pond, high temperatures mostly get into the 70's, and throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Fox Pond. Just can't get enough of the White Mountains. If you need a location to stay Red Carpet Inn and Suites Plymouth is a glorious choice; golf can be played at White MTN Country Club. Dry warm beds await you at Red Carpet Motel, and if you get bored of Fox Pond you could also go to nearby Campton Bog Pond. And that's not all the things to do here in the White Mountains.
