Fox Pond is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. During the warm months here at Fox Pond, high temperatures ordinarily reach the 70's with overnight lows in the 50's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 20's; after the sun is down throughout the wintertime temperatures at Fox Pond descend into the 0's. The White Mountains scenery is always beautiful. Just can't get enough of the White Mountains. You'll never forgive yourself

| | if you don’t go skiing at Waterville Valley while you're here, and do take a hike on the The Wall Trail.
In case you don’t have a problem getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Branch Brook. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Fox Pond has to offer, you can camp at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park. This lake is so wonderful. And if that's not sufficient there's heaps more exciting stuff to do in the White Mountains. What would winter be without some skiing at Tenney Mountain. There's so much to do here at Fox Pond that you
need to camp here for a while, Ames Brook Campground is a good place for that. This lake is so wonderful. There's some out of the ordinary stuff to catch a sight of at Fox Pond Dam near Fox Pond; Fox Pond is right by the Prospect
Trail. Dry warm beds await you at Pemigewasset Lodge & Hotel, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Peaked Hill Pond Trail.
An average amount of precipitation falls at Fox Pond; during the month of August you get the most
rain around here; February is when it's the driest. What a place this is for outdoors folks. Whitewater paddling is great on Mad River, and Cobblestone Inn is a great spot to get some rest.
