A visit to Fort Eddy is always a good idea. Pats Peak is a very popular ski area close by; on a splendid day you can take a hike along the Broken Boulder Smith Pond Trail. Fort Eddy usually gets much rain; the month of November is the wettest with most of the rain while January is the month with the least amount of precipitation. If you're here at Fort Eddy, you could explore Bowen Brook, and while you're here at Fort Eddy it's a tremendous idea to check out Concord Plains. All through the months of summer here at Fort Eddy, high temperatures regularly get into the 80's. For the period of the moonlight hours it's usually in the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 20's, and after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Fort Eddy fall into the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. | |

An afternoon playing golf at Beaver Meadow Golf Course is always a pleasure, and if the weather is great, you can go for a hike along the Catamount Trail.
While you're here at Fort Eddy you can take a hike along the Onemile Trail;
if you came to camp Cascade Park Campground is a pleasant site to do that. So many entertaining things to do at Fort Eddy, so little time. A great close by hotel is Holiday Inn Concord, NH; since you're here you will meet lots of
people from close by Concord. This location is excellent, just check out all the entertaining things to do near Fort Eddy.
This lake is so wonderful. Turtle Pond Dam is a place that is in close proximity to Fort Eddy; get yourself
into a kayak and hit Merrimack River. If you come at the right time of year, Piscataquog River offers some delightful whitewater, and Fort Eddy is perfect enough to spend more than a day at, Twin Oaks Campground is a perfect local campground.
