     Forest Pond is a nice lake to visit. This lake is so wonderful. The fine folks of Laconia like to hang out nearby, and a great nearby hotel is The Inns & Spa at Mill Falls. During the months of summer at Forest Pond temperatures are regularly in the 80's. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 50's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the 20's; overnight lows at Forest Pond through the wintertime ordinarily drop into  
   the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. If the weather is brilliant here at Forest Pond, you can go for a hike along the The Wall Trail, and camping at Meredith woods Four Season Camping Area is always a magnificent experience.
Don't forget to take a brilliant little journey to Dolloff Brook; close by you come across the Ramsey Trail which is a glorious hiking trail. Beaches are good; and Center Harbor Town Beach in the vicinity of Forest Pond is no exception;
 
               why not spend some time golfing at a close by golf course like Oak Hill Golf Course. So much cool stuff to do here in the White Mountains, too pleasant to be true. If you're interested in hydro structures, you can check out Wickwas Lake Dam, and a nice place for whitewater paddling is Beebe River.
You just can't envision the amount of outdoors enjoyable things the area in the neighborhood of Forest Pond has to offer. Here at Forest Pond you can catch a glimpse of Fogg Hill; you're probably into lakes, Winona Lake is one of those nearby. Forest Pond is one of the lakes here in the White Mountains. Really great skiing awaits you at Tenney Mountain, and Forest Pond is fine enough to spend more than a day at, Clearwater Campground is a fine local campground.
All year is a perfect time in the White Mountains if you go for the outdoors. There's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Gunstock. Forest Pond in fact is in the middle of a stunning outdoors paradise. The Prospect Trail is a nice hiking trail close to Forest Pond; possibly you're looking for nearby lakes? Sure, Wickwas Lake is just a very short distance away. The high level of rain makes Forest Pond a reasonably wet site; the wettest month of the year is ordinarily November, that's the one that rains the most; the driest month is February.
Man, is there plenty of exciting things to do in the White Mountains. The Summit Resort is a great place to get some rest, and if you don't mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Winnipesaukee River.
