A visit to Flat Mountain Ponds is always a good idea. Not sufficient hours in a day to enjoy this spot. Dry warm beds await you at Best Western Silver Fox Inn, and there's good hiking along the South Slide. Man, is there a lot of enjoyable stuff to do in the neighborhood of Flat Mountain Ponds. There's whitewater on Swift River for all you thrill seekers. If you need a spot to stay Rodeway Inn Moultonborough is a nice choice, and you can go for a hike on the

Flat Mountain Ponds is a place with many visitors from Laconia. This lake is one of the great places here in the White Mountains. Hit the slopes at Loon Mountain close at hand, and you can run the rapids of Mad River. There's
no way anybody can get bored here in the White Mountains. The sight of Flat Mountain from Flat Mountain Ponds is pretty, and why not camp at Pass Campground while you're here at Flat Mountain Ponds. Flat Mountain Ponds is a good place of common rain; most of the rain falls through August; February is when it's the driest.
