    The beauty of Flat Mountain Ponds is reason enough to stop by. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the South Slide is always a great adventure, and after a long day outdoors Best Western Silver Fox Inn is a nice site to spend a night or two. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors fun things the White Mountains has to offer. The Flat Mountain Pond Trail is a glorious hiking trail close to Flat Mountain Ponds, and in the event that you don’t  
   have a problem getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Swift River. If you're going to Flat Mountain Ponds from Laconia, you won't be the only one.

The view of Flat Mountain from Flat Mountain Ponds is stunning, and what would winter be without some skiing at Waterville Valley. Flat Mountain Ponds is one of the lakes here in the White Mountains.
This lake is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay Rodeway Inn Moultonborough is a delightful choice, and Waterville Valley Golf Course is a golf course nearby. Flat Mountain Ponds gets a common amount of annual precipitation; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain while February is typically the driest month.
