New Hampshire has many beautiful lakes and Flaghole Pond is one of them. There's just no way somebody can get bored here at Flaghole Pond. Contoocook River Reservoir is a nearby lake that you could pop by, and there are some delightful whitewater spots on Blackwater River. This lake is so wonderful. You get a great panorama of Dagody Hill from Flaghole Pond, and if you come at the right time of year, Merrimack River offers some fine whitewater. Golf can be played

| | at Canterbury Woods Country Club; after a long day outdoors Elmwood Motor Lodge is a wonderful site to spend a night or two. Any time is a wonderful time at Flaghole Pond if you like the outdoors. Take a hike on the Old Country Road; people from Concord love to come here. Webster Motor Lodge; great skiing awaits you at Ragged Mountain. Summertime highs at Flaghole Pond usually tend to be in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures dip down into the 50's. Throughout the wintertime this place gets
highs in the 20's while Flaghole Pond night low temperatures through the winter are in the 0's. Flaghole Pond gets a normal amount of rain; May is when you get the most rain here; the driest of the months is January. Hiking along
the Wilmot Trail is pleasant fun. There's so much to do here at Flaghole Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Thousand Aces Family Campground is a pleasant spot for that. Flaghole Pond Dam has splendid water scenery and it's
right next door to Flaghole Pond, and going for a hike along the Onemile Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood.
