    It's always fun to stop by Fish Pond. This spot, the Green Mountains, has so much outdoors entertaining stuff. Since you're here at Fish Pond why not have a look at Cree Notch; playing golf is lots of fun at Colebrook Country Club Motel. So many enjoyable things to do at Fish Pond, so little time. A normal amount of rainfall falls here at Fish Pond; through August this area sees the most rain, and February is the month with the least moisture.
This lake
 
   is so wonderful. You're sure to bump into some wonderful people from Berlin here, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always pop by nearby Lime Pond. Just can't get enough of Fish Pond. The skiing at Balsams Wilderness is good, and a magnificent place for whitewater paddling is Mohawk River. This lake is located in the wonderful Green Mountains.
After a long day outdoors Lancaster Motor Inn is a good place to spend a night or two, and Fish Pond
 
               is nice enough to spend more than a day at, Notch View is a nice local campground. This lake is so wonderful. Go for a hike on the Moose Trail, and in case you don’t have a problem getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Nulhegan River. Coos Motor Inn is a perfect site to get some rest; there's great hiking along the Loon Trail.
So much cool stuff to do in the Green Mountains, not enough time. A great site to camp here at Fish Pond is Mohawk Valley Camping Area, and not far from Fish Pond you'll discover Matthews Pond which is a beautiful lake. Very tremendous water scenery is available at Lime Pond Dam near Fish Pond, and don't leave Fish Pond without first going for a hike along the Shore Trail. All through the summertime here at Fish Pond, high temperatures generally get into the 70's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Fish Pond.

Growing up I have had a place on maidstone lake it was my favorit spot at a kid and one day I hope to own another camp up there. I had the best time from water skiing to fishing. I spent most of my summers growing up at cedar pond.We had our camp there and I remember the penny candy at the red and white striped store and the dog inky. There was also a dog named cedar that would visit all the camps in search of food. The lake would be freezing even in August and when we had to start a fire in the furnace the only wood we had to burn was obviously cedar and the smell was wonderful. And though the ''camp'' my Pepere had is no longer there, the wonderful memories are....
