If you are in this part of New Hampshire make sure to pay a visit to Farm Pond. Farm Pond is a beautiful lake in the Green Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. Abeniki Mountain can be spotted from Farm Pond. For the duration of the months of summer at Farm Pond highs are typically in the 70's. Summer overnight lows drop down to the 50's. | | ski! Balsams Wilderness is a fine site to do that, and do stop at Farm Reservoir Dam if you're here. What a site this is for outdoors people. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Androscoggin River, and of course, this is a perfect region for people who like lakes, Moose Pond is a lake close by. Mohawk River offers some good whitewater, and a tremendous place to camp here at Farm Pond is Ramblewood Cabins and Campground. Table Rock is an attention-grabbing site to pop by while at Farm Pond, and since you might be in a
lake visiting mood you can always explore nearby Moose Pond. The amount of rainfall that falls at Farm Pond is close to the national average; August is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest month of the year is February.
A Top Notch Inn is a splendid place to get some rest, and there are plenty of people from Berlin here. That right there is heaps of enjoyable stuff already but it goes on, the Green Mountains has it all. A quick visit to Moose

Cedar Pond
 | 14 miles away I spent most of my summers growing up at cedar pond.We had our camp there and I remember the penny candy at the red and white striped store and the dog inky. There was also a dog named cedar that would visit all the camps in search of food. The lake would be freezing even in August and when we had to start a fire in the furnace the only wood we had to burn was obviously cedar and the smell was wonderful. And though the ''camp'' my Pepere had is no longer there, the wonderful memories are.... |
