Pillsbury Lake
We have lived on Pillsbury Lake for over 20 years and have enjoyed every minute. The countryside is beautiful! I walked our youngest child, Deborah Jean, in a stroller on our beautiful back roads. We have a wonderful family atmosphere of folks living here and a law enforcement that does a fabulous job keeping our town safe. We love to fish, swim and boat; and although we had a setback with the dam break for the summer of 2006, we look forward to seeing the repairs of our dam to once again restore our beautiful body of water. We have seen the population grow over the years with wonderful families ready to discover what we have here in Webster. Our four children all agree they thoroughly enjoyed growing up here....

this place is the bomb!!!...Another trip to RockNBirch and what an awsome time. Been there several times and it just keeps getting better.(?)...Excellent campground!Nice pond. Mostly seasonal sites but had primitive area out back for tenting. Very peacfull. My only complaint was with one of the annual campers. Real jerk, he kept saying Hey Man every five seconds...RockNBirch in Henniker is GREAT...Lots of fun at RockNBirch. The owner is great and insures his guests have a good time. Snowmobile right from R&B for awsome winter fun. Summer brings good Bass fishing right from campground. Autumn is almost as colorful as the campers at RockNBirch...stop in for some excitment soon....

Powder Mill Pond

Very shallow but a great large moulth fishery....This has got to be the best kept secret in New Hampshire!  A fantastic place to kayak or canoe.  I've seen great blue heron, ducks of many varieties, Canada geese and even two bald eagles.  It's easy to surprise beaver early in the morning as well as muskrat and oppossum.  I haven's spotted deer yet, but have heard them crashing off into the brush when I paddle too close to shore in the morning mists....

Ragged Mountain

I went to this mountain with my school and it was a really fun expiernce and I am planning to go back with my school some time soon.......tions did not stop there. In 2008, Ragged Mountain announced the addition of a new upscale dining establishment, additional snow-making capacity, and three all new terrain parks including one of the only all natural terrain parks in the East.
The resort development group has a history of building resorts around the Western U.S. and Canada. Along with the substantial funds to help with improvements, the new owners hired ski industry veteran Bob Fries as president and general manager to implement the necessary changes. Fries has an impressive resume with 35 years in the ski resort business including five years as owner and president of Bolton Valley, president of Stratton Mountain in Vermont, and president of Breckenridge in Colorado.
With Fries as the new president, Ragged Mountain applied to Audubon International to become a Certified Silver Signature Sanctuary. Audubon International only accepts applications for this level of certification when it can be involved before the construction of infrastructure has begun in order to provide critical input in the design phase, and g...
