In New Hampshire there are many beautiful lakes, Enfield Reservoir is one of them. This lake is so wonderful. Enfield Reservoir Dam is an exciting thing to check out, and whitewater paddling is good on Mascoma River. A perfect place to camp here at Enfield Reservoir is Mascoma Lake Campground, and hiking along the Grimes Hill Road is delightful fun. Summertime highs at Enfield Reservoir usually tend to be in the 70's, and throughout the night it cools down to

| | the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 20's, and throughout the dark hours in the wintertime at Enfield Reservoir temperatures fall to the-10's.
What a place this is for outdoors people. Camping at Mascoma Lake Camping Area is always a splendid experience; why not take a refreshing hike along the Dartmouth Outing Club Trail. Dry warm beds await you at Lebanon Days Inn, and Enfield Reservoir is not far at all from Lebanon. Paddling on Mascoma River is so much fun, and a
day on the slopes of Whaleback is just what you need. An average amount of precipitation falls at Enfield Reservoir; August is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest month of the year is February.
Scales Brook is a nice place to visit; if you like skiing, you're in luck; Mount Sunapee is rather near.
