Don't leave Enfield Reservoir without first going for a hike along the Clark Pond Loop; if you came to camp Mascoma Lake Camping Area is a good spot to do that. Scales Brook is a beautiful stream that is worth going to, and a day on the slopes of Whaleback is just what you need. You can run the rapids of Mascoma River in close proximity to Enfield Reservoir, and you can go for       a hike on the Dartmouth Outing Club Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at The Trumbull House Bed And Breakfast; there's great hiking along the Grimes Hill Road. This lake is so wonderful. The skiing at Mount Sunapee is fine; Enfield Reservoir Dam is a spot that is next to Enfield Reservoir. The friendly folks of Lebanon like to hang out close by, and a great location for whitewater paddling is Mascoma River.
