Camping is available at Emerald Acres, and you'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Crotched Mountain while you're here. You truly have to fancy Emerson Pond. locate a delightful lake called Bullet Pond. If you come at the right time of year, Contoocook River offers some great whitewater, and Weatherbee Hill can be seen from Emerson Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Skiing at Wachusett Mountain
is one of those things you just have to do, and if the weather is good, you can go for a hike along the Parker Trail. For the period of the summer months at Emerson Pond highs are usually in the 80's. All through the moonlight
hours it's usually in the 50's. Through the winter highs are in the 30's; nighttime lows at Emerson Pond through the wintertime frequently drop into the 0's.
