The slopes of Loon Mountain are so inviting nobody can resist. Through the summer months, highs ordinarily are in the 70's at Ellsworth Pond. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 20's; after the sun is down throughout the winter temperatures at Ellsworth Pond drop into the 0's. The White Mountains scenery is always beautiful.
