The White Mountains scenery is always beautiful. During the summer highs here at Elbow Pond get into the 70's, and during the night it cools down to the 50's. For the period of the winter highs are regularly in the 20's, and night lows all through the wintertime for Elbow Pond tend to be in the 0's. You'll truly wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the entertaining things in the White Mountains. Whitewater paddling       is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Glover Brook; camping is available at Lost River Valley Campground. This lake is so wonderful. Have a nice hiking adventure along the Glover Brook Trail. If you like the outdoors you'll like it here in the White Mountains. Mount Cilley is clearly visible from Elbow Pond, and why not camp at Woodstock KOA if you're here at Elbow Pond. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this site. There's whitewater                  on Pemigewasset River for all you adrenaline junkies, and going for a hike along the Hubbard Brook Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region. Jack O'Lantern Golf Course is a golf course next to Elbow Pond; a good nearby hotel is InnSeason Resorts South Mountain. The amount of rainfall that falls at Elbow Pond is close to the national average; most of the rain falls during August while February is typically the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Cannon Mountain is in close proximity to Elbow Pond; if you need a place to stay Comfort Inn & Suites is a delightful choice.
