Do stop by Echo Lake while you're in this part of New Hampshire. On a delightful day you obtain a view of Bald Mountain from Echo Lake, and if you come at the right time of year, Pemigewasset River offers some great whitewater. Echo Lake is a beautiful lake in the White Mountains. So much cool stuff to do here in the White Mountains, too pleasant to be true. Don't leave Echo Lake without first checking out Artists Bluff, and close by you stumble on the High

| | Cannon Trail which is a wonderful hiking trail. This lake is so wonderful. You might want to pay a visit to Franconia Notch while you're here at Echo Lake, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Cascade Brook. All year is a good time in the White Mountains if you have a thing about the outdoors. A lake close by is Lonesome Lake, and camping at Echo Lake is great fun, Lafayette Campground is a great local campground. Life's too short to enjoy all the entertaining | |

stuff in the vicinity of Echo Lake. Fransted Camp Grounds is a fine campground here, and you can go for a hike on the Lonesome Lake Trail. Going for a hike on the Greenleaf Trail is always a good adventure, and wonderful scenery
and pleasant skiing is what you acquire at Cannon Mountain. What a location this is for outdoors folks. Skiing at Loon Mountain is one of those things you just have to do. If you're a golfer then a tremendous close by course is Sunset
Hill Golf Course; dry warm beds await you at Franconia Notch Motel. This lake is so wonderful. Jordan Brook is one of the streams nearby that might be worth stopping at, and after a long day outdoors Mittersill Resort Assoc is
a delightful place to spend a night or two. Echo Lake is a good spot of normal rainfall; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain; February is the month with the least moisture. For the period of the warm days
of summer, highs frequently are in the 70's at Echo Lake with night lows in the 50's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Echo Lake.
