It's always fun to stop by Echo Lake. That right there is a load of enjoyable things already but it goes on, the White Mountains has it all. Be careful coming to the White Mountains, you might not ever wanna return home again. If you're a golfer then a good nearby course is Sunset Hill Golf Course, and paddling on Pemigewasset River is so much fun. Good hiking is available along the Greenleaf Trail, and Echo Lake is a good site to visit for more than one day, Lafayette Campground is a good site to camp nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Echo Lake; Lonesome Lake Trail is a good local trail; nearby Franconia Notch is a perfect location to go. If you want a wonderful time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Echo Lake. Stay the night at Fransted Camp Grounds, and what would
a place like Echo Lake be without interesting nearby highlights like Artists Bluff. For the period of the days of summer at Echo Lake temperatures are commonly in the 70's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's mostly in the 50's. Daytime
