     There are plenty of folks from Laconia here at Eaton Pond, and going for a hike along the Broken Boulder Smith Pond Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood. Throughout the summertime, highs commonly are in the 80's at Eaton Pond. Summer overnight lows fall down to the 50's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 20's, and overnight lows all through the wintertime for Eaton Pond tend to be in the 0's. This lake is so wonderful.  
   Dry warm beds await you at Fairfield Inn & Suites Hooksett, and whitewater paddling is nice on Little Suncook. One of the dominant highlights of the surroundings of Eaton Pond is Catamount Mountain; a day on the slopes of McIntyre is just what you need.
Just can't get enough of Eaton Pond. Lakes are magnificent; Chestnut Pond is a lake that's next to Eaton Pond. Get soaked paddling on Suncook River, and Eaton Pond is a perfect spot to visit for more than
 
               one day, Hillcrest Campground and Cabins is a perfect spot to camp nearby. Head up to Gunstock and strap some skis to your feet; as expected, this is a wonderful neighborhood for folks who like lakes, Blake Pond is a lake around here.
This lake is so wonderful. Berry Pond Dam is not far at all from Eaton Pond, and if you're a golfer then a great close by course is Nippo Lake Golf Club. The amount of rain that falls at Eaton Pond is close to the national average; the wettest month of the year is frequently November, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest of the months is February. But wait, there's more to do close to Eaton Pond. Have a great hiking adventure along the Catamount Trail. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Eaton Pond has to offer, you can camp at Blake's Brook Campground.
Hiking along the Campground Trail is brilliant fun, and after a long day outdoors Loudon Red Roof Inn is a fine location to spend a night or two.

Have been here a couple of times and its the best! We go with a group and get all the sites near the river/stream (perhaps the river/stream is Sun River)and its wonderful!!! No need to worry about the kids and/or dogs bothering anyone and they can just play in the water, fish, look for frogs, float on their tubes, etc. Everyone is very friendly and helpful, and the facilities are clean!!! We've stayed here a number of years and I couldn't ask for more from a camp ground . . . you're camping but still have all the conveniences right at hand! The spot we get near the water is by far the best! Country store is close and, for those who are interested, I can even use my cell phone (only if necessary, of course)without getting cut off! Thumbs up to Sun River Camp Ground!!! ...

I ski there almost every day of the winter. Ive been snowboarding there for 8 years. They acualy have 6 trails with over 20 acres of riding, and 2 rope tows. They have a 1000,and a 150 ft rope tow. They have a small asortment of freestyle terain and snowmaking.
