Pemigewasset River - Hancock Br. is a pleasant whitewater spot close to East Pond, and there are tremendous spots to discover along the Little East Pond Trail. There is a delightful hiking trail near East Pond called the East Pond Trail; Waterville Valley Golf Course is a perfect golf course close by. Yeah, come here to East Pond for a perfect time. Going for a hike on the East Pond Loop is always a delightful adventure,       and dry warm beds await you at Best Western Silver Fox Inn. Having a tremendous time in the White Mountains is trouble-free. Thornton Gap is right next door to East Pond and is a magnificent spot; a wonderful panorama of wonderful West Peak is available. A nice site to camp here at East Pond is Country Bumpkins. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Hancock Campground is always a tremendous experience, and in the event that you don’t have a problem getting                  drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Mad River. The yearly rain here at East Pond is about average; most of the rain falls all through August; February is the month with the least moisture. Summertime highs at East Pond typically tend to be in the 70's, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. High temperatures through the winter are normally in the 20's, and through the dark hours in the winter at East Pond temperatures descend to the 0's. But wait, there's more fun stuff to do in the White Mountains. East Pond Brook is a delightful spot to stop at, and Waterville Valley has fine slopes and a friendly staff. This lake is so wonderful. Hit the slopes at Loon Mountain in the neighborhood, and if you need a place to stay Village Of Loon Mountain (Vri) is a brilliant choice.
