If you like lakes and you're in this part of New Hampshire you can check out East Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Best Western Silver Fox Inn is a good place to get some rest, and you can hit the slopes at Loon Mountain in close proximity. Through the summertime months, highs generally are in the 70's at East Pond. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 50's. For the duration of the winter this place gets highs in the 20's; night lows in

| | the 0's for East Pond. So much fun stuff to do in the White Mountains, not sufficient time. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always check out nearby Little East Pond, and Pemigewasset River - Hancock Br. is a great whitewater spot close by. An average amount of rain falls at East Pond; August is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest month is February. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this place. Brook; of course, A tour to Thornton Gap is always fun. There's no way anybody can get bored here in the White Mountains. Hiking along the East Pond Loop is delightful fun; there's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at close by
Waterville Valley. Why not spend some time golfing at a close by golf course like Waterville Valley Golf Course, and Hancock Campground is a brilliant campground nearby. East Pond is located in the White Mountains. Man, is there
heaps of amusing stuff to do in close proximity to East Pond. East Pond is a great site to visit for more than one day, Country Bumpkins is a great site to camp nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Take a hike on the East Pond Trail,
and if you don't mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Mad River. Lakes? Sure, Greeley Ponds is close by, and the sight of West Peak is beautiful. Have a great hiking adventure along the Little East Pond Trail; after a long day outdoors Village Of Loon Mountain (Vri) is a delightful place to spend a night or two.
