If you are in Grafton county it's always a good idea to stop by East Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike along the East Pond Loop will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity; camping at Hancock Campground is always a pleasant experience. If you want a glorious time in the great outdoors just come on up to the White Mountains. If you crave a little side journey, try Thornton Gap, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Pemigewasset River

Man, is there lots of entertaining stuff to do near East Pond. Enjoy a round of golf at Waterville Valley Golf Course not far from East Pond, and hiking along the East Pond Trail is splendid fun. Very striking
scenery and tremendous skiing is what you get at Waterville Valley, and why not check out nearby East Pond Brook since you're here at East Pond. This lake is so wonderful. If you come at the right time of year, Mad River offers some
brilliant whitewater, and you'll locate a delightful lake called Little East Pond.
Skiing at Loon Mountain is one of those things you just must do, and Loon Mountain Riding Stables is a glorious place to get some rest. Dry warm
beds await you at Nordic Inn, and if the weather is great, you can go for a hike along the Little East Pond Trail. East Pond is located in the White Mountains.
