What would winter be without some skiing at Loon Mountain; a magnificent close by hotel is Village Of Loon Mountain (Vri). This lake is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay Best Western Silver Fox Inn is a delightful choice, and get wet paddling on Pemigewasset River - Hancock Br.. Just can't get enough of the White Mountains. You might want to pay a visit to Thornton Gap if you're here at East Pond, and a stunning lake like       Greeley Ponds is a good place to explore. If the weather is great here at East Pond, you can go for a hike along the Little East Pond Trail; East Pond is a magnificent location to visit for more than one day, Hancock Campground is a magnificent location to camp nearby. And if that's not enough there's loads more exciting stuff to do in the White Mountains. Have a delightful hiking adventure along the East Pond Trail, and get yourself into a kayak and hit                  Mad River. East Pond is a good place of common rainfall; during August this area sees the most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. A round of golf at nearby Waterville Valley Golf Course is a splendid way to kill some time; at East Pond you can make out West Peak. And that's not all you can do here at East Pond. Going for a hike along the East Pond Loop will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity, and of course East Pond Brook flows through this area. Little East Pond is a great lake close to East Pond. You'll need more than a day to explore everything East Pond has to offer, you can camp at Country Bumpkins. That right there is a heap already, but it goes on; East Pond has it all. Gotta ski! Waterville Valley is a nice site to do that. Summertime highs at East Pond ordinarily tend to be in the 70's while overnight lows are usually in the 50's. Throughout the winter this place gets highs in the 20's while East Pond night low temperatures all through the wintertime are in the 0's.
