This lake is so wonderful. During your spree to Duck Pond you'll meet some folks from Concord for sure, and you can go for a hike on the Clark Trail. There's just no way anybody can get bored here at Duck Pond. The Henniker Motel is a perfect location to get some rest, and going for a hike       on the Wilmot Trail is always a good adventure. Through the warmest time of the year here at Duck Pond, high temperatures typically get into the 70's; through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Through the wintertime the highs are commonly in the 20's with temperatures at Duck Pond dipping down into the 10's through winter nights. This lake is so wonderful. In the event that you don't mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater                  paddling on Contoocook River, and if you're a golfer then a pleasant close by course is Country Club of NH. The annual precipitation here at Duck Pond is about average; the wettest month of the year is typically November, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest month is January. Any time is a good time at Duck Pond if you love the outdoors. Head up to Ragged Mountain and strap some skis to your feet, and Tucker Pond is a great lake nearby. A day on the slopes of Pats Peak is just what you need; a delightful lake like Bagley Pond is a good spot to stop by. Pumpkin Hill is easy to spot from Duck Pond; dry warm beds await you at Best Western Sunapee Lake Lodge.
