Shelburne Trail
 | Beautiful trail, mostly easy grades. Lots of running water and a few hidden waterfalls along parts of the trail. You hear no traffic, almost no jets, just the sound of wild land around you. There is a nice campsite in a hemlock grove at the height of land, at the intersection of the Kenduskeag Trail. Cedar Pond
| 14 miles away I spent most of my summers growing up at cedar pond.We had our camp there and I remember the penny candy at the red and white striped store and the dog inky. There was also a dog named cedar that would visit all the camps in search of food. The lake would be freezing even in August and when we had to start a fire in the furnace the only wood we had to burn was obviously cedar and the smell was wonderful.
