If you like lakes and you're in this part of New Hampshire you can check out Dream Lake. The White Mountains scenery is always beautiful. Dryad Falls is a good local attraction. Now, you may imagine that's a heap but there's even more exciting stuff to do here in the White Mountains. There's so much to do here at Dream Lake that you need to camp here for a while, White Birches Mtn Camping Park is a pleasant site for that; getting to Dryad Brook from Dream

This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is great on Wild River, and close by you come across the Sinclair Trail which is a delightful hiking trail. And if that's not enough there's a heap more exciting stuff to do in the White Mountains. August this area sees the most rain while February is mostly the driest month.
After a long day outdoors Budget Inn is a pleasant spot to spend a night or two. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Dream Lake has
to offer, you can camp at Wild River Campground. A glorious nearby hotel is Town & Country Motor Inn, and there is a nice hiking trail nearby called the Austin Brook Trail. If you want a nice time in the great outdoors, just come
on down to Dream Lake. Everybody nearby loves skiing at Black Mountain, and on a good day you can take a hike along the Peabody Brook Trail.
High temperatures at Dream Lake during the summer months are in the 70's, and through
summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. During the winter the highs are ordinarily in the 20's; nighttime lows in the 0's for Dream Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Gentian Pond is a nearby lake that you could take a look at, and the skiing at Wildcat is magnificent.
