This is a wonderful neighborhood for folks who like lakes. McQuade Reservoir is a lake close at hand, and do take a hike on the Slot Trail. Whitewater paddling is delightful on Connecticut River, and people from Lebanon love to come here. Don't stop me now, cause I'm havin' a great time here at Dole Reservoir. In the event that you don’t have a problem getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Sugar River; the peak of Bald Mountain

You can never get enough of the great skiing at Whaleback, and dry warm beds await you at Holiday Inn Express SPRINGFIELD. This lake is so wonderful. Skiing at Ascutney is one of those things you just ought to do; you're most likely
into lakes, Straw Reservoir is one of those nearby. Grandy Brook is a good local stream, and after a long day outdoors Rodeway Inn Claremont is a perfect place to spend a night or two. Playing golf is lots of fun at Claremont Country Club Country Club, and you can stay the night at Running Bear Camping Area.
