This lake is so wonderful. There's splendid hiking along the Broken Boulder Smith Pond Trail; Dole Marsh Dam is an interesting thing to check out. During the months of summer at Dole Marsh highs are typically in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 50's. The wintertime brings highs       down to the 20's with temperatures at Dole Marsh dipping down into the 0's through winter nights. Woodman Marsh is an out of the ordinary swamp close to Dole Marsh, and don't leave Dole Marsh without first going for a hike along the Campground Trail. Dole Marsh is not the only location close by, Tudor Wildlife Pond is a close by lake, and Suncook River is a pleasant whitewater spot nearby. A wonderful location for whitewater paddling close to Dole Marsh is                  Little Suncook, and New England Center is a fine spot to get some rest. If you want a wonderful time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Dole Marsh. You'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at McIntyre if you're here. Be careful coming to Dole Marsh, you might not ever want to return back home again. Saddleback Mountain is a peak you can make out from Dole Marsh, and Bettys Meadows is right here at Dole Marsh. The Catamount Trail offers hiking at its best, and Pine Acres Recreation is a wonderful campground nearby. Dole Marsh is a good site of typical rain; the wettest month of the year is ordinarily November, that's the one that rains the most, and January on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful.
