This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Dodge Pond, you could also check out wonderful Cold Brook Pond; hey, Gotta ski right? Mount Sunapee is a pleasant site to do that. If you come at the right time of year, Sugar River offers some glorious whitewater, and at Dodge Pond you always meet       someone from Keene. This lake is so wonderful. Lempster Mountain is clearly visible from Dodge Pond, and camping at Crow's Nest The is always a glorious experience. Going for a hike on the Farmers Trail is always a nice adventure, and Dodge Pond is brilliant enough to spend more than a day at, Northstar Campground is a brilliant local campground. Through the warm days of summer, highs commonly are in the 80's at Dodge Pond, and during summer nights temperatures                  are in the 50's. For the duration of the winter this place gets highs in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Dodge Pond are in the 0's. There are glorious locations to look at along the Pumpelly Trail, and what would winter be without some skiing at Whaleback. This spot rules, just explore all the exciting things to do next to Dodge Pond. So many enjoyable things to do at Dodge Pond, so little time. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Ashuelot River, and why not take a little visit to Beaver Brook while you're here. The annual rain here at Dodge Pond is about average; August is when you get the most rain here while January is regularly the driest month.
