It's always fun to stop by Desolation Pond. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the White Mountains. Why not camp at Timberland Camping Area since you're here at Desolation Pond, and hiking along the Crawford Path is delightful fun. But wait, there's more amusing stuff to do in the White Mountains. | | wonderful. Dry River is a splendid whitewater spot close to Desolation Pond, and as expected Monroe Brook flows through this vicinity.
Summer at Desolation Pond comes with high temperatures in the 80's. Summer nighttime lows fall down to the 50's. All through the winter this place gets highs in the 20's; winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Desolation Pond. you can always go whitewater paddling on Peabody River - West Branch. Desolation Pond is located in the White Mountains.
From a rain point of view Desolation Pond is a quite normal place; August is when you get the most rain here;
February is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Bretton Arms Country Inn is a nice place to get some rest, and if you're here you can take a hike along the Mount Pleasant Trail.
Burt Ravine is a good location to have
a look at close to Desolation Pond, and why not head up to Bretton Woods and strap some skis to your feet. This place, Desolation Pond, it clearly has so much outdoors entertaining stuff. If you need a location to stay Seasons at Attitash is a perfect choice; you can have a great hiking adventure along the Mount Eisenhower Trail.
