After a long day outdoors Seasons at Attitash is a brilliant spot to spend a night or two; the Mount Pleasant Trail offers hiking at its best. Yeah, come here to Desolation Pond for a great time. You can run the rapids of Peabody River - West Branch near Desolation Pond, and Monroe Brook is close to Desolation Pond and is always a pleasure to stop by. If you like skiing, you're       in luck; Bretton Woods is near Desolation Pond; there's splendid hiking along the Mount Eisenhower Trail. So much cool stuff to do in the White Mountains, not enough time. The summit of Mount Eisenhower can be seen from Desolation Pond, and lakes are such serene places, why not take a look at Spaulding Lake. Desolation Pond gets a common amount of yearly rainfall; during August this area sees the most rain while February is usually the driest month. For the duration of the summertime months here at Desolation Pond, high temperatures mostly get into the 80's, and the overnight is a tad colder of course, ordinarily in the 50's. High temperatures through the wintertime are normally in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Desolation Pond.
