If you're stopping by Dennison Pond from Manchester-Nashua, you won't be the only one; dry warm beds await you at Hill - Brook Motel. This lake is so wonderful. If the weather is nice here at Dennison Pond, you can go for a hike along the Wapack Trail, and Crotched Mountain is a very popular ski area close at hand. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Dennison Pond that       you need to camp here for a while, Peacock Hill Campground is a nice place for that, and the peak of Candlewood Hill can be observed from Dennison Pond. A great deal of rain falls at Dennison Pond; of all the months in a year November is the one with the most rain, and the driest of the months is January. At Dennison Pond during the days of summer highs are in the 80's with night lows in the 50's. Through the winter highs are in the 20's while Dennison                  Pond nighttime low temperatures during the winter are in the 10's. This is no spot for people who don’t like to have a good time. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Souhegan River, and since you're here you can take a hike along the Old Country Road. This is a glorious region for people who like lakes. Haunted Lake is a lake nearby, and as expected Currier Brook flows through this region. If you have a thing about the outdoors, you'll love Dennison Pond. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always check out close by Ferrin Pond, and The Henniker Motel is a good spot to get some rest. Hit the slopes at Pats Peak in close proximity, and Dennison Pond is splendid enough to spend more than a day at, Wildwood Campground is a splendid local campground.
