Deering Reservoir is a lake worth visiting. Summertime brings highs in the 70's to Deering Reservoir. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 50's. For the period of the wintertime the highs are mostly in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Deering Reservoir. While you're here at Deering Reservoir you will meet lots of folks from close by Manchester-Nashua, and a quick visit to Dinsmore Brook is unquestionably a delightful idea. For you

| | golfers we recommend nearby Angus Lea Golf Course, and a good place for whitewater paddling is Contoocook River. Deering Reservoir Dam is lovely and it's near Deering Reservoir, and a lake close by is Shattuck Pond. A nice close by hotel is Best Western Sunapee Lake Lodge; you can go for a hike on the Old Country Road. This lake is so wonderful. Skiing at Crotched Mountain is one of those things you just have to do, and there are fine locations to explore | |

along the Wapack Trail. What a place this is for outdoors folks. Nothing beats kicking back at Picnickers Beach; if you get bored of Deering Reservoir you could also stop at nearby Fulton Pond. The yearly rain here at Deering
Reservoir is about average; November is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest month is January. Deering Reservoir really is in the middle of a lovely outdoors paradise. If you came to camp Peacock Hill Campground is a
magnificent site to do that, and if the weather is delightful, you acquire a wonderful panorama of Goodale Hill from Deering Reservoir. Camping at All Seasons Campground is always a nice experience; if you need a place to stay
The Henniker Motel is a tremendous choice. This lake is so wonderful. Really wonderful skiing awaits you at Pats Peak, and you can always enjoy a lazy day on the beach at Campers Beach. Don't leave Deering Reservoir without first going for a hike along the Mitchell Hill Road.
