The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Crotched Mountain; The Country Club of New Hampshire is a nice golf course close by. Whohoo, so many entertaining things in one place! You get a great sight of Colby Hill from Day Pond, and camping at Oxbow Campground is always a delightful experience. This lake is so wonderful. If you came to camp Lake Massasecum Park and Campground is a wonderful place to do that, and Day Pond is a site with many visitors from Concord. This is a pleasant neighborhood for folks who like lakes. Sand Brook                  Marsh is a lake close by, and you can go for a hike on the Wilmot Trail. All the outdoors entertaining stuff near Day Pond will keep you coming back many times. Warner River is a wonderful whitewater spot right next door to Day Pond, and Best Western Sunapee Lake Lodge is a delightful site to get some rest.
