You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors exciting things the area near Dark Pond has to offer. From a rain point of view Dark Pond is a reasonably typical site; August is when you get the most rain here, and February is the month with the least moisture. The Farmers Trail is a good hiking trail in the neighborhood of Dark Pond,       and on a pleasant day you can take a hike along the Cascade Link Trail. This lake is so wonderful. There are plenty of folks from Keene here at Dark Pond, and a great nearby hotel is E.F. Lane Hotel. While you're here at Dark Pond you can take a hike along the Pumpelly Trail, and Contoocook River is a brilliant whitewater spot close by. Dark Pond in fact is in the middle of a pretty outdoors paradise. Looking for something near Dark Pond?
