A lake close by is Beard Pond; dry warm beds await you at The Henniker Motel. at Cold Springs Camp Resort is always a great experience. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay Hill - Brook Motel is a nice choice, and Daniels Lake Dam is a picturesque location, absolutely worth going to. What
a site this is for outdoors people. For you golfers we recommend close by Stonebridge Country Club, and do take a hike on the Old Country Road. Daniels Lake gets a large amount of water; through the month of November you get the
most rain around here, and the driest of the months is January. Have a pleasant hiking adventure along the Mitchell Hill Road, and there's whitewater on Piscataquog River - South Branch for all you adrenaline people.
