High temperatures at Dan Hole Pond all through the days of summer are in the 70's. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 20's, and nighttime lows during the winter for Dan Hole Pond tend to be in the 0's. That right there is heaps of enjoyable things already but it goes       on, the White Mountains has it all. Whitewater paddling is good on Lovell River; Dan Hole Pond is not far at all from Laconia. If you like the outdoors you'll like it here in the White Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. Paddling on Cold Brook is so much fun, and the Hammond Trail is a good hiking trail close by. Having a good time at Dan Hole Pond is simple. Playing golf is lots of fun at Indian Mound Golf Club, and here at Dan Hole Pond you can see Eldridge                  Hill. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Rodeway Inn Moultonborough is a great site to spend a night or two, and lakes are such serene places, why not stop at Melvin Pond. Dan Hole Pond is one of the lakes here in the White Mountains. Dan Hole Pond Dam is a wonderful spot close to Dan Hole Pond, and a magnificent close by hotel is Wolfeboro Inn. All the outdoors fun stuff in close proximity to Dan Hole Pond will keep you coming back time and again. If you're here at Dan Hole Pond, you could pop by Bodge Brook, and there is a fine hiking trail close by called the Weetamoo Trail. King Pine has tremendous slopes and a friendly staff, and Whit's End Campground is a good local campground. Dan Hole Pond is a wet place that gets lots of rain; most of the rain falls during November; the driest month is January. You'll really wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the cool stuff in the White Mountains.
