The Henniker Motel is a fine place to get some rest, and the trees of Harriman Chandler State Forest are a pleasant source of shade on hot summer days. There's just no way somebody can get bored here at Cunningham Pond. If you're here at Cunningham Pond and you like golf, you can pop by The Country Club of New Hampshire, and after a long day outdoors Best Western Sunapee Lake Lodge is a pleasant spot to spend a night or two. visit for more than one day, Lake Massasecum Park and Campground is a great location to camp nearby, and the panorama of Mink Hills is pretty. Head up to Ragged Mountain and strap some skis to your feet, and hiking along the Monadnock
Sunapee Trail is delightful fun. Cunningham Pond gets a normal amount of precipitation; all through the month of November you get the most rain around here; January is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. The best
way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Pats Peak, and Cunningham Pond is right by the Wilmot Trail. This lake is so wonderful. A wonderful spot for whitewater paddling right next door to Cunningham Pond is Warner River;
there are other spots here than Cunningham Pond, for example Day Pond. Stay the night at Rock' N Birch Campground, and lakes are such calm sites, why not stop by Colleague Pond. Be careful coming to Cunningham Pond, you might
not ever want to go back home again. Contoocook River is a tremendous whitewater spot right next door to Cunningham Pond.
