The beauty of Crooked Pond attracts many people from all around. Really nice skiing awaits you at McIntyre, and whitewater paddling is magnificent on Little Suncook. Crooked Pond is not far at all from Laconia, and some of the water close by flows, like Giddis Brook. This lake is so wonderful. The Broken Boulder Smith Pond Trail offers hiking at its best; if you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Loudon Country Club is close by.

an overnight stay Lazy River Family Campground is a magnificent site to camp, and you're possibly hooked on lakes, Marsh Pond is one of those close by.
Now, you may think that's a lot but there's even more enjoyable stuff to do
here at Crooked Pond. In case you don’t mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Suncook River; if the weather is lovely, you get a good vista of Bear Hill from Crooked Pond. Why not camp at Cascade Park Campground
since you're here at Crooked Pond, and you can never get enough of the brilliant skiing at Gunstock. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this location. Don't leave Crooked Pond without first going for a hike along the Onemile Trail.
This lake is so wonderful. There's fine hiking along the Catamount Trail, and a glorious nearby hotel is Red Roof Inn Loudon. Crooked Pond gets a normal amount of rainfall; November is when you get the most rain here, and the driest of the months is February.
