A visit to Crooked Pond is always a good idea. Don't leave Crooked Pond without first going for a hike along the Catamount Trail; one of the dominant features of the surroundings of Crooked Pond is Bear Hill. Take a side visit to Giddis Brook; a golf course nearby is Loudon Country Club. This lake is so wonderful. Crooked Pond is a wonderful site to camp, Cascade Park Campground is a wonderful site, and everybody close by loves skiing at McIntyre.

| | are glorious spots to discover along the Onemile Trail, and if you come at the right time of year, Little Suncook offers some brilliant whitewater. Crooked Pond really is in the middle of a pretty outdoors paradise. There's tremendous hiking along the Broken Boulder Smith Pond Trail, and if you need a place to stay Courtyard By Marriott Concord is a great choice. Summertime highs at Crooked Pond generally tend to be in the 80's with nighttime lows in the 50's. | |

High temperatures all through the wintertime are normally in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Crooked Pond.
The yearly rainfall here at Crooked Pond is about average; the wettest month of the year is frequently
November, that's the one that rains the most while February is ordinarily the driest month. Crooked Pond is a spot with many visitors from Laconia, and Gunstock is a fine local ski area. This lake is so wonderful. You'll need more
than a day to look at everything Crooked Pond has to offer, you can camp at Lazy River Family Campground; if you've had enough of Crooked Pond, Bog Pond is close by.
Glide down the rapids of Suncook River in a kayak, and dry warm
beds await you at Red Roof Inn Loudon. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors enjoyable things the area in close proximity to Crooked Pond has to offer.
