There's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby McIntyre, and close by you come across the Broken Boulder Smith Pond Trail which is a great hiking trail. Camping at Lazy River Family Campground is always a pleasant experience, and you can run the rapids of Suncook River. For the duration of the days of summer here at Crooked Pond, high temperatures commonly       get into the 80's. Summer night lows descend down to the 50's. Daytime highs all through the wintertime are in the 20's; throughout the dark hours in the winter at Crooked Pond temperatures drop to the 0's. An average amount of precipitation falls at Crooked Pond; most of the rain falls through November, and February is the month with the least moisture. Really great skiing awaits you at Gunstock, and if you've had enough of Crooked Pond, Lynxfield Pond                  is close by. Why not visit close by Giddis Brook since you're here at Crooked Pond, and Courtyard By Marriott Concord is a splendid spot to get some rest. If the weather is beautiful, you get a great view of Bear Hill from Crooked Pond; if you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Loudon Country Club is in close proximity. You'll meet a lot of folks from Laconia here, and Little Suncook is a great whitewater spot close by. This lake is so wonderful. On a glorious day at Crooked Pond you can take a hike along the Onemile Trail, and if you need a site to stay Red Roof Inn Loudon is a great choice. There's just no way somebody can get bored here at Crooked Pond. There is a splendid hiking trail in the vicinity of Crooked Pond called the Catamount Trail. Any time is a splendid time at Crooked Pond if you go for the outdoors.
